This doesn't mean you were less of a trans person before you transitioned, it just mean that you weren't on your ideal gender expression at that time. if there's no transition or transformation of any type you're aiming for, then any person can claim they're trans and just do absolutely nothing about it, it becomes meaningless, where you draw the line then? the line is realize it and aim for it at least.
