VMAs are not presenting Vanguard Award anymore and it seems now every year they will create new award, this year it is Global Icon Award, last year MTV Tricon Award

From what I understood  the Tricon Award is a special award given to those artists who stand out in every aspect in their careers not only releasing music but entertaining. We'll have to wait if there is ever gonna be another artist with those requirements
