Not much different she performed several songs and we only had applause out of them all at the time, and didnt get the album til 2 months later

How? Obviously its not in the EXACT same way but the point is he is teasing his fans with music before his album drops and that is just what Gaga did with ARTPOP , so I can imagine that it's an exciting time to be a Kanye fan.
