GagaSine 7,464 Posted August 18, 2021 Share Posted August 18, 2021 I have loved the pokemon franchise since my childhood when I played the first game on a rented gameboy from Blockbuster, we didn't have batteries so I had to sit next to the outlet in the wall and keep it plugged in. But these new games have really not been doing it for me. I would rather still have the pixel graphics from the old games than these half-assed and cheap looking 3D graphics... I love cel shaded art style in games and indie games with simpler graphics, but aesthetically I have found the recent games to be just hideous and thus they don't feel worth the triple A price tag at all.
