Also, Doja is also signed to RCA but she has a publishing deal with Luke. However, Doja signed with him BEFORE all of that blew up and she mentioned multiple times that she can’t wait to be out of her contract.

The fact that Kim comes from a small village in Germany, moved to the USA alone, slept on studio couches for two years and worked so hard to make it in the industry is really inspiring to me.

She has worked with Dr. Luke before Kesha made her experience public and acknowledged the situation: “While I've been open about my positive experience with Dr. Luke, that does not negate or dismiss the experience of others or suggest that multiple perspectives cannot exist at once.“

As much as I want to support a talented trans artist, Kim is not the one to do that for. There are many other extremely deserving trans artists who deserve the praise she gets who aren't r*p*st apologists.

Willful ignorance and the actual devil’s advocate is what she’s playing. She knows it’s wrong but admitting it now would invalidate the whole journey, right? Detaching from Luke is career su*c*de in her mind and she isn’t at all willing to consider being on his bad side.

He has no choice but to be on his best behavior, he ain’t gonna do sh!t where there’s a chance of someone calling it out. Kim has very little spine for choosing her stance as one of giving the abuser the benefit of the doubt. Well into the 2020 decade where everyone is well aware of how many powerful abusers are out there and how many allegations have risen about his horrendous treatment of young artists and women in particular.

It’s so apparent how easily he could have done evil things with his level of power and notoriously negative demeanor. It’s just beneficial to pretend you really see someone as a good person, much like you all are not looking at the reality of her collusion with such a dark industry figure. They’re a dream team.

She probably isn’t even rich from her level of success and there are a million crafty, talented people who would jump on the opportunity to work with her, despite her carelessness.

Y’all don’t come around here promoting this glorification and acceptance of abuse, it’s making you look evil too.

Thanks for all the input and educating me about circumstances that were unknown to me. I’m not trying to glorify Kim as obviously she is willingly continuing to work with Dr. Luke and has just signed to his new label – but that won’t change my attitude towards her journey, which I have followed ever since the first documentary on her gender journey over ten years ago aired in Germany. I still think it is very inspiring and I love her music, the song she’s done with Charli XCX, SOPHIE etc.
