I think it’s becoming more and more transparent that Gaga doesn’t want to be a pop star anymore. Her lack of care with Chromatica and the fact that she was practically forced to create it based on what she’s said in interviews, is proof of this for me. I mean bloodpop had to make her come down to the studio and record it. I really just wish she would own her **** and just focus on a film career and her makeup brand, some jazz music here and there. Stop making pop music that you don’t promote and don’t perform. Like girl it’s obvious that you’re over it at this point by your lack of follow through with anything related to pop music. Just move on already.

I mean I hated the Joanne era but she did a LOT of promo for it and it was pretty cohesive/consistent, you can't deny her dedication to it.

But yeah I was waiting since ARTPOP for an era I would enjoy, Chromatica seemed like a dream come true then it ended up being her worst era yet by far

Where did the info about an unauthorized sample even come from? I think a problem like this would pop up way earlier than a week before release date

I agree, but then why she agreed with its release? If it’s to be a surprise drop to be forgotten a weeks later and not mess the new image she’s building up for Gucci and Jazz era, wouldn’t it be easier not to come out with any remix album at all?

When all those projects started to roll out I found its timing super weird too but I feel now there is no coming back. They chose it.

It will be a mess if the album ended up not coming out in August now - it is what it is. If plans have changed, Bloodpop should have at least told us to forget about the august release already. Although we all know how he likes to make fun of fans and troll them

Actually its not uncommon. I remember Nicki Minaj's last album was delayed in the final week because of an unauthorised sample.
