I know it is one of the most prejudiced religions of all (if not the most), yet many members of this religion are also regular people, maybe our neighbors that, that outside of islamic states, see that this prejudices are not something good and are trying to evolve. But they are going to get punished by the society because of aacts they didnt comit. I'm christian but i dont want to get punished because other christian lunatics killed someone, as I condemn them as well.

Also, this islamic people I say, that are good people even if their religion preaches prejudice, are also present here on this site. There are islamic people here, and they know the problems of their religion really well. That's why you must respect them. We can disagree with religious dogmas, but we must be careful so we dont hurt people

The United States should have never been there in the first place. We created these conditions, we helped arm the taliban via proxy wars, we decimated the region and killed millions of innocent people throughout the Middle East. 
 

Pulling out isn’t the problem. The US shouldn’t be there. The problem is that they were ever there in the first place. The alternative is staying there forever, which literally no one, including Afghanis, want. 
 

I can’t stand Biden, but leaving Afghanistan was one of the only things he was ever on track to do correctly and this pro-war coverage is likely going to even undo that. The US should’ve never been there waging an imperialist war for oil while killing countless innocent civilians in the region. The takeaway from this is that US imperialism and meddling on the affairs of other nations only leads to disaster.

Came here to say this. 

We also need to note the Afghan military immediately surrendered. It’s crazy to think how US presence was the only thing keeping the Taliban suppressed. 

But the US cannot be there forever. It is absolutely horrible what will happen but I’m sure most people are tired of these endless wars. 

The Afghan people were failed from all sides and from everyone.

U know what, so many people blame the US, it's so easy to do, but at the end of the day, is the US responsible for every single country out there in the world? Afghanistan failed in their mission, how many US soldiers have to die to keep fighting the same wars, bcs when it comes to islamic terrorist organizations, you kill one, another one pops up like corn in a microwave. How can these countries dealing with these organizations can better help themselves in an independent way to stop this from happening? Thats a question id love to have answer from, and most likely from an expert so id have to do research but geopolitics is very very complicated

It’s incredibly sad and my heart hurts for those that will suffer the rein the taliban- but there’s nothing that would’ve changed the outcome. We spent 2 decades funding and training an army that completely collapsed within a few days. A government whose existence relies on the presence of foreign powers that created it will always be destined to fall, and it’s a lesson that has failed to be understood time and time again. We should’ve left right after we crippled AQ in 2001/2002, it’s been 20 years of delaying the inevitable.
