Afghanistan is now again a far-right extremist Islamic dictatorship.

This is Trump's legacy, his administration ordered for US soldiers to stop their help in Afghanistan and signed a peace treaty with the Taliban. The Taliban literally broke the peace treaty only days after it was signed with the US administration not caring. The Biden administration now has to live with the consequences and defend the decisions of the previous administration as if it were their own.

Let’s not make this partisan.  This an AMERICAN problem with both sides to blame, but Biden made the final decision to withdraw.  That being said, were we just to occupy the place forever?   What were alternatives?  Genuinely curious.

Gurl, it is not suspicious or anything. The US policy is never about restoring peace or whatever, it is about profit and exploitation. They see a problematic issue and then make it more inflamed, for the sake of profit. I don´t get the people desperately defending those actions

Yeah dude. I'm totally a Trump supporter

and that wasn't the president who traded them for the soldier. 

I don't even know why I bother responding to some of you. You try to twist and turn things into an us vs them always. Sometimes things are not black and white they are many shades of grey.

The military complex that is lobbying in the US gov to go into wars, is the reason most of these wars go on. Do you think Republicans and establishment democrats care about the US economy or normal middle class? All they care about how much lobbyist give them money.

Gurl what do you want them to do, to arrive in a superhero cape to save everyone? This isn’t a movie, this is real life. The US shouldn’t have ever been there in the first place, and any time they try to “help” another country (obviously always with a hidden agenda, it’s almost never for the benefit of the people) they end up making more of a mess. The Afghan army didn’t even try to fight back, it’s sad but there’s really not much that can be done. This 20-year war was a complete waste, leaving was the best decision. It’s just the harsh reality.

When Did I say that?   It has nothing to do with black and white. The US Gov could have ended Taliban in 20 years if they wanted to, instead they were making deals with them. Their intentions weren´t about ending terrorism and restoring democracy.

Pretty sure I get asked if in middle eastern at least twice a month. Arab are so inbeded in Spanish looks and culture that Latinos use Ojalá daily and they don't even know that it comes from the Arab phrase Arabic phrase “inshallah”, which means “God-willing.

He should move to Miami. He'll be fine. Most Latino men look like Arab men who aren't wearing traditional clothes. 

I mean I thought Britney's boyfriend was Latino until I looked him up. Pretty sure he doesn't suffer from Islamophobia either, just the typical latin xenophobia.
