Ladle Ghoulash 26,646 Posted August 14, 2021 Share Posted August 14, 2021 I don't condone the idea that Lorde is somehow in Jack's "stable", but I will say the overlap between some of the recent projects he's collaborated on is noticeable. I feel badly for her because, even if some of her more recent tracks remind me of StV's or LDR's most recent records, there's no way she heard those songs before they came out. It's just really unfortunate timing of releases and her collaborating with someone who is probably a bit overworked and potentially overexposed atm. Context: none of this is intended to belittle either Jack or Lorde, I think they're both amazing musicians, I just haven't been inspired by the two tracks we've heard from SP, though I'm looking forward to hearing the whole thing.
