House of Gucci script review

GucciGa

Really great to read!

"I don’t think there’s a bad scene in this entire script. I also give credit to the writers for not making a common mistake made in these screenplays – which is that when writers take on a real-life murder story, they don’t actually write a story. They write the ending, where the person is murdered. Then they go back and write 100 pages of filler to get us there. With Gucci, I wouldn’t have even cared if there wasn’t a murder. That’s how good the story was."

I felt the same way when I read the book, I was surprised how engaging it was because it was mostly family and business history and not a ton about the murder -- but it was compelling! Very glad that's apparently translated to the script as well.

Oh no. This is not good for Gaga's chances at the Razzies. Not good at all I'm afraid.

Former First Lady of the United States. Now card-carrying member of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Thanks for posting! Good to know the script is getting high marks. Just hope the critics don’t tear her performance apart b/c of some anti- Gaga bias and just let her work speak for itself. She has great material to work with!

This makes me super excited for the film! It sounds like it'd be really interesting even without Gaga attached to it.

This is seriously a very good and reliable news.:golfclap:

This critic seldom gives his "impressive":vegas: rating, and among his "impressive"-rating films are Joker(2019), Jojo Rabbit(2019), and Promising Young Woman(2020), with the last 2 winning Oscars Best Original Screenplay.

Among his "not-for-me" screenplays are Mank(2020) and Little Things(2020), both of which turned out to be bad because of their scripts.
