Exactly. Oscar winners are usually (kinda boring) super worthy movies about social issues. HOG does not fit at all. The only reason it's in the conversation is because the calibre of talent behind it. It might get some nominations if it's well reviewed and popular but people have to get real. I've seen lots of people tagging their friends in comment sections saying they will have a night out for it. As someone has already said, they're setting Gucci up to fail, half of the other ones don't stand a chance, Being the Ricardos has been "confirmed" for 2022 etc. A mess and a half. I love Andrew Garfield. It's the only other Oscar movie I'm interested in right now.
