Imagine if it's KLK and then we get Arca screaming: ¡¡ESTÁ TEMBLANDO 'FUERTÍSIMO' EN ESTE MOMENTO!!, and Gaga saying: RAIN. ON. ME., on the same song...

I wonder if the remix album was planned all along. I mean, based on the Haus Labs ads, it feels like it was supposed to be heavily inspired by those industrial beats. Perhaps, they decided to release a more mainstream sound for the GP, and a more experimental one later on (sort of like Act I & II of ARTPOP)

i feel like this is also a test for the 2 act rollout that was planned for ARTPOP, like the pandemic did help to this but like i feel Gaga might be testing the waters for an ARTPOP act ii especially since the remix is coming to be VERY experimental compared to her other work

I think I've accepted that  this remix album is the modern day ARTPOP ACT II :rip:

I really don't know. What I'm sure of, however, is that an album goes through a lot of different stages before a final direction is finally chosen. That's why I never like these discussions about the "original" LG5, or LG6... Seeing things like that is a complete misunderstanding of the creative process, I'm fairly sure each record has had dozens of different versions.

However, it feels like this remix album is Gaga giving BloodPop and his friends carte blanche do to whatever they want to do, which includes going in directions she wouldn't have explored with the main record.

I’m not familiar with most of these artists but when I say I’m perched y’all I’m PERCHEDT!!!! Gaga tends to introduce me to new genres of music (house with chromatica, different types of rock and country with Joanne) so now that I’m about to get a taste of hyper pop, a prominent genre in LGBTQIA+ culture, I’m so excited 59fb58e3a469e13d5d588c298813b4c6jerry-mo

She clearly wanted to explore more genres, considering she worked with SOPHIE

Umm.. I just skimmed through the album.

The Dorian Electra 911 remix seemed promising if not a little over worked but this…. :messga:

is this why Gaga isn’t talking about it?

Dorian is remixing Replay and Charli is remixing 911.

I wonder if the original Gaga vocals will be shredded too and it’s mostly just an Arca x Bloodpop vanity project?  Oh how I wish BoyzNoise remixed it!

Y'all are always like I WANT GAGA TO GO DARK AND EXPERIMENTAL 🤪 and then when we *actually* get that some of Y'all get all "ew what is this pots and pans trash" like make it make sense

Because people here think experimental means something just a little weird like Government Hooker or something, they don’t actually know nor like any real experimental music. That’s what happens when you think a mainstream pop artist like Gaga is anywhere near experimental, you think it’s supposed to sound palatable and accesible with some weirdness on the side when it’s supposed to be the total opposite of that. This forum is one of the places that I’ve seen is one of the most deterred towards experimental non-charting music, so it says a lot.

Government Hooker and Swine ain’t experimental babes, Arca actually is. Don’t ask for Gaga to go experimental and bold and “stand out” if you don’t actually like that.
