oheyitso 2,818
I've been rewatching the Joanne Tour (reminiscing after feeling sad about the lack of Chromatica Ball), and when Gaga performed Perfect Illusion, I remembered that when it was released, she talked about how it was about social media I can't talk for Gaga, but the song (for me, at least) feels 100% about an end of a relationship, perhaps it is about Taylor and how hurt she was after it, or maybe just about Instagram It got me thinking about how I feel like I wish Gaga would be more transparent sometimes in her music. Obviously it's her music and I'm sure she might not want to talk about some of her hardest 'life' moments in her music, but sometimes I do wish I heard about how she feels in a more transparent way, rather than metaphors, on more of her music That's just what I got thinking about, but how do you think Gaga could improve as an artist? LittleMonster20 9,858
I think Gaga is definitely capable of making a legendary visual album. She originally wanted ARTPOP to be one but that didn’t work out. I feel like Chromatica could have been an amazing visual album, so hopefully maybe one day she’ll do it. I feel like it’d be so great because she’s so known for her visuals and this would establish her even more.

gumzy3000 7,344
Remixing her older hits in tours and changing the choreography. I was sad when I went to the Joanne tour and found that her old hits sounded just as they did in the Born This Way Ball. I do not like to compare Gaga to Madonna because it has been so overdone but Madonna remixes all her songs and changes the choreography for every tour. trolly troll troll

The Fame 4,192
I would say she should go back to writing songs just by herself and maybe one other songwriter, ala her earlier career. It, to me, would feel more...authentic, I guess? Have more integrity? This is just my opinion, btw, not here for a debate, but this is an example of what I mean: From Sine From Above: "The track was written by Gaga, Michael Tucker, Elton John, Axel Hedfors, Johannes Klahr, Rami Yacoub, Richard Zastenker, Ryan Tedder, Sebastian Ingrosso, Benjamin Rice, Vincent Pontare and Salem Al Fakir, and produced by BloodPop®, Burns, Axwell, Johannes Klahr and Liohn." compared with... "Poker Face" is a song written by Lady Gaga, and producer RedOne " "Bad Romance" is a single which is sung and written by Lady Gaga, with the help of RedOne" "Speechless" is song written...by Lady Gaga" "Diamond Heart" is a song written by Lady Gaga" ^THAT to me has more artistic integrity then TWELVE writers on one single song. It makes it seem more insincere and more of a product. Just my opinion.

AloraRola 147
By making music videos with depth and message just like back in the days, cause Stupid Love and Rain on me are just mindless choreographies with no depth, nothing to dive into and to be captivated by. At least 911 saved Chromatica in that aspect
BlueGentleman 18
Not write so many songs and then not release them jk like The Fame said less writers. I was a bit disappointed in CHROMATICA. It was out of place in her discography. Joanne made more sense. Maybe because we all were asking for a pop album and she delivered that when that wasn’t the logical next step for her as an artist

Just my opinion. lyrics are written by her so they are still very authentic a lot of people are credited because of melodies, production etc. chromatica was all about collabing and sharing art with other talented people, that's why there's many different names red wine, cheap perfume and a filthy pout
JohnWayne92 2,175
I think at the end of the day, she holds herself back out of fear. Fear of being hated again, fear of another injury, fear that despite how much she tries her music won’t do as well. I think ARTPOP really ****ed her up, and I think ATRPOP ACT II could actually do the healing ARTPOP was meant to. Something that Chromatica clearly started. So, I think she needs to get back to trusting herself and fighting for what she wants.
