In a recent interview with The Guardian, Billie Eilish addressed the lyrics in her latest song "OverHeated," which questions those that have gone under the knife.
"All these other inanimate b****s / It's none of my business / But don't you get sick of / Posin' for pictures with that plastic body? Man," the lyrics read.

According to Billie , the song was directed at people who perpetuate "unattainable" beauty standards.
“It’s completely fine to get work done – do this, do that, do what makes you feel happy. It’s just when you deny it and say, ‘Oh, I got this all on my own, and if you just tried harder, you could get it.’ That makes me literally furious," she explained and added: "It is so bad for young women – and boys, too – to see that.”

She admitted that in the past she found herself comparing her appearance to other women on social media.
“I see people online, looking like I’ve never looked. And immediately I am like, oh my God, how do they look like that? I know the ins and outs of this industry, and what people actually use in photos, and I actually know what looks real can be fake. Yet I still see it and go, oh God, that makes me feel really bad."

Billie is "very confident" in who she is as a person and "happy" with her life remains unhappy with her body and being in the public eye hasn't been helpful with improving how she feels about herself physically.
"I have such a terrible relationship with my body, Like you would not believe, so I just have to disassociate… Then you get a paparazzi picture taken when you were running to the door and had just put anything on, and didn’t know the picture’s being taken, and you just look how you look, and everyone’s like, ‘Fat!’”

She added that society's fascination with bodies is unwarranted in the first place.
"We only need bodies to eat and walk around and poop, We only need them to survive. It’s ridiculous that anybody even cares about bodies at all. Like, why? Why do we care? You know, when you really think about it?”

While this can be true, it is also important to notice beautiful and sexy people like me have it easier in life, but also harder. We can't know if a person loves us because of us, or because we're the embodiment of the word "grace". It truly is a heartless world for us sexy people.

We pretend to want "real" looking celebs but we don't, we crucify them whenever they look it.

Any article or thread where a celeb looks rough we shout drugs, mental health, a waste of fame etc. It's all performative and the celeb has to live up to that standard. Messed up really.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

It doesn't matter what you look like, lots of people have issues with their body and suffer from body dysmorphia and eating disorders to try and "fit" a certain mold from society

I dont think they are all lying tho. At least not technically

U can get work and treatments done it doesnt mean u had to get botox, fillers or go under the knife

Nowadays theres a lot of less invasive lazer treatments that can do wonders on the skin and more advanced creams as well etc in addition to more science knowledge available for a good skin routine

I think a lot of celebs nowadays under 50 to 55 that look young havent had to resort to the more invasive plastic surgeries to look young. With a high budget and money theres a lot available to you average ppl cant afford... eventually these alternatives past a certain age arent enough anymore and if u wanna still loom crazy young you gotta do more traditional treatments but until middle age or so its not really necessairy anymore unless u got bad genes or bad skin routine :enigma:

So yeah celebs do things regular ppl cant afford to do that doesnt mean they are lying when they say they havent done botox, fillers or go under knife.

Lying by omission is lying.

The celebrities who have a team of surgeons helping them look as fantastic as they do promoting diet supplements and workouts claiming that's the "key" to looking like them without also mentioning they've had multiple procedures to help the process is a prime example of lying by omission.

Billie is 100% on the mark.

Who cares? Honestly I like Billie but who cares? She sounds like a 19 who thinks they know everything about life. With the size of her boobs she'll have them lifted by age 45 and probably lie about it too. Bookmark me. She's not Janis Joplin. She's never going to be Janis Joplin.
