Not people trying to gaslight LGBTQ+ people into "helping" human filth like that and trying to make us look bad for "canceling" them as if it's our ****ing fault that they are grown ****ing men who refuse to act like that. Then again, y'all are enabling it, so... :oprah:

As someone who doesn't believe DaBaby's "apology" was sincere, Miley is actually giving a chance for us to know whether he meant his apology or not. If he ignores her, Miley will say that he ignored her, and we could know that he has no intention of educating himself on the problematic stance he held.

Homophobia is not an irredeemable crime.

This thread is really starting to sound like a bunch of privilege. No one has canceled Eminem, but I guess DaBaby isn't a traditionally good looking white guy.

By the way Paris Hilton probably made the exact same comment DaBaby made and we as a a community praise her all the time. She did apologize just like DaBaby did.

The real privilege is gays from the western countries like the US trying to act like apologists for this type of thing. Most of the rest of us, sadly, cannot afford that kind of privilege.

Also, I know whataboutism is a great weapon to play the devil's advocate in people's minds - though mostly whack conservatives' - but I don't buy it at all. I don't have to be outraged about every single other thing to be outraged about this thing.

They won't pick you no matter how much you betray your own, people.

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

Girl, this isn't whataboutism. Homophobia is homophobia and equating my comment to conservatism is a joke. It's like Megan McCain level of false equivalency nonsense.

I didn't say, "why aren't you just as mad about child abuse." I said why aren't you mad at the same level of homophobia from other famous people.

It's not so much the homophobia as it is the violence, physical and verbal. When he slapped a female fan in front of thousands of people at a concert, that should have been a red flag. Or when Chris Brown nearly killed Rihanna. Sadly, these criminals have a legion of Stockholm Syndromed fans that will excuse anything they say or do, not to mention full backing by the music industry.

Chris Brown did not nearly kill Rihanna. Why would you even suggest that? Yes he beat her, but he wasn't trying to kill her. This is the kind of micro-aggressions that are blatantly racist.

Eminem used to hit his wife too you know. Why has no one ever accused him of trying to kill his wife? I mean he even wrote a song about killing her and putting her in the trunk of his car.

Like do you guys even think about what you wrote before you write it.

I don't praise Paris Hilton and I most certainly don't stan Eminem, so... yea, glad we got that sorted :vegas:

There weren't really any Paris and Eminem threads I can recall - when I see them, I'll be sure to, especially since it's so important to you :kara:

Till then, keep DaBaby cancelled
