Yeah but the "death of the author" principle is harder to apply if the f*cker is alive, and even a hollow skull like Justin should've known better. BTW I've never heard the R. Morgan Wallen is a country music singer who got caught using the N word... and then following his cancellation, his career got bigger than ever and he stayed on top of the charts for 8 weeks. So.. I guess a lot of country music fans wanted to prove that they're okay with white people using racial slurs, by making him culturally relevant.
