Yep I’m aware of it and agreed. As you said the Delta is still the one of great concern although there are newer variants. And yet no variant from the USA which I find suspicious. It seems the mutations of most concern came out or countries where the viruses had infected the most - makes sense, it spread and got stronger by numbers. UK, Brazil, India, Peru - all such cases. So I believe it’s highly possible that there are/will be variants stemming from the USA, Indonesia, Phillipines, Russia, Phillipines etc Countries with very large, dense populations and high virus spread numbers.

Delta Plus has been around for a few months. I remember hearing about it in late Spring. Lambda was first mentioned a couple months ago. Right now though Delta is the dominant variant in multiple countries. There are a few variants The WHO is watching. Delta Plus and lambda are two of them. I pray that after all these more severe variants it start soon mutating into a weaker less transmissible form. Until then, keep that mask on, spread is still happening among vaccinated people.
