If it wasn't for my dog's wet food breakfast and the occasional chicken she would be a vegetarian :bradley:

She turns her nose up to most dog treats but she loves crunchy vegetables, especially celery and carrots. Her food looks like something a human would eat too. I swear she eats better than I do :bear: because she deserves the best :bradley:

My dog loves fruits and vegetables! He used to love apples but his favorite fruit is definitely kiwi now! My boyfriend eats more fruits that I do myself (he’s not a veggie) so my dog likes to be around him. He likes  watermelon, strawberries, guava and mango as well

If you gave the dog a choice and let him decide between meat and some veggies... now what would any dog choose? :bear:

Then you realize some dog breeds wouldn’t even exist in nature so it kinda makes no sense if you think about it :bear:

There is vegan dog food that meets the appropriate criteria of nutrition for doggos. With her wallet, I’m sure she has no problem affording the best food, shelter, healthcare, and more for her dog. Y’all worry too much.

I don't think one should force dogs to be vegan BUT she's wealthy enough to be able to afford/make sure her dog gets a balanced vegan diet.

Anyway, I'm not a huge Billie fan but people are really coming for her for everything nowadays. The internet loves to tear women down :(.

Yeah, I definitely am not a fan of forcing dogs and cats to be vegan BUT she's rich as h*ll and can afford the expensive vegan food for her doggo.

That doesn’t have anything to do with what an animal would choose to eat.

I’m not saying dogs don’t like veggies because my dog does eat them - he also loves fruits like banana, watermelon, strawberries etc - but most dogs would most probably (on a daily basis) when they are hungry rather eat meat than veggies if you let them decide (just check YouTube- there are videos about that)

yes they can

they don't need meat to be healty and happy

they are not feeding themselves anyway, so they depend on you

so there's no difference for them to not eat meat, it's all good

and buying any meat, even from farms is bad

because even if isn't not as bad as massive companies destroying the planet

innocent animals are still being killed for no reason lol

i feel like saying the same thing over and over again at this point

i feel the same lol.
a person who doesn't need meat to be healty and happy and doesn't eat meat because someone else doesn't feed it is not a vegan either... veganism involves choise and even privilege
I know it's still bad but it's ten times better

they can choose to eat chocolate

doesn't mean they can, should or need it

if they are given good vegan food and there's no meat laying around, they are not going to think about it and be unhappy because they can't get it

they are going to be happy, healthy and satisfied with what they have

If there was 2 bowls - one with chocolate and one with meat - I still think most dogs would rather (meaning first) go for the meat.

That’s all I’m saying - whether it’s good or bad for them

you really want to make that choosing between thing work, aren't you...

we know that dogs like meat, trust me

but it doesn't change the fact, that when there's no meat around and they have a vegan food, they are going to be healthy and satisfied with it

so what's the point of talking about what would they choose when it doesn't matter

Well I never said that they can’t be happy and healthy with a vegan diet but I’m sure most dogs wouldn’t choose it & would rather have meat instead if they could since they like meat better in most cases

everybody has their opinion on this and can do what they want with their dog’s diet anyway

it's going to be the same thread as the one about katy isn't it? :bear:

dogs CAN be vegan

all you need to do is make their diet good and full of the things they need

cats need meat, not dogs

Correction dogs do need meat
