Any updates? there hasn't been much reporting on the international BO but it had a fantastic hold this weekend at the domestic BO: a 14% drop from last weekend! It rounded up to 49M domestic per Box Office Reports on twitter. 50 Million should happen, making it the biggest adult drama in the pandemic era

ThatCanadian 305
125 million is great figure! It can leg out to 130, maybe 135? It needed 150 to be “profitable” - with ancillaries, it will get there! we love a hit

MelbHawker 6,583
So I finally saw the film.. I have such mixed feelings on first watch. I loved the first half - the pacing was quick, yes, but it was necessary story telling. The second half fell a little flat.. after Maurizio sends Patrizia back to Milan, the focus seemed to be more on the Gucci business rather than the failing marriage / tension between Maurizio & Patrizia. The photo album scene / divorce papers scene were both great and really showed how great an actress Gaga is - I wish they had included Maurizio ignoring Patrizia’s hospital experience to give more motive/context re: the murder though (I believe they did film it). The scenes between Pina & Patrizia fell very flat in my opinion.. I tried so hard to like them but the writing was so mediocre - the ‘I’m being very f*cking positive’ line.. is that the best they could come up with there? Anyhow, I thought Gaga & Adam were perfect in their roles - their chemistry was great in the beginning & both actors did an impeccable job at portraying the nuances of drifting apart as a couple as the film progressed. Al Pacino was also great as Aldo - accent, mannerisms.. he absolutely nailed it. Leto was really underwhelming for me.. sure he made me (& the rest of the cinema) laugh here and there, but it really did feel like he was acting in his own film in almost every scene he was in. Irons was great in his role, & Hayek was also fun in hers (I just wish the script for the scenes between her & Gaga was stronger). I need to re-watch. Most of the time I was just stunned at watching Gaga act.
