First half of the movie is a bit too slow and drawn out for my taste. For a while I was thinking, "Is this as exciting as this movie is gonna be?" They could've condensed the first hour of the story into a half hour, in my opinion. But ... it got a lot better mid-film and the second half is reallllly good. That's where all the exciting, juicy stuff happens!! Either way, Gaga is PHENOMENAL in this! Jerod Leto also spectacular! In a way that you completely forgot that its actually her? I also want to know if the scenes that were leaked during filming are still in a movie? Particularly the scene when the lawyer guy hands Patrizia the divorce papers And if so - how was it? Also, spill the tea about the ski resort scene. She seems so deliciously bitchy in that particular moment so I wanted to know if that translates in the actual movie. Honestly it was her laugh that took me out of it occasionally because she laughs the way she normally does lol. Second half - I lost sight of Gaga all together. I don't know about the leaked scenes cause I don't think I saw them. But there is a scene where she is handed the divorce papers and it's REALLY intense. Maybe one of the best scenes tbh. And yes the confrontation she has at the ski resort is also one of the best moments in the film! She's more deliciously bitchy in that scene than you can even imagine. We were kind of warned this would be a polarizing movie. People will either love it or hate it, and it's okay. I just hope Gaga pulls through and gets both the recognition and acclaim she deserves. I will say, I am surprised that apparently some people found it "boring." From the trailers and clips, this looked anything but boring. Messy? I could understand, but with this cast and with the campy, yet dramatic, vibes it's going for, this looked like it was going to be a really fun and entertaining movie. It is very fun and entertaining but it was dragged for too long and some scenes without Gaga it just felt boring. She’s just so magnetic on the big screen. The needle drops are amazing, and the editing is actually kinda messy.
