DrewPa 3,650 Posted July 30, 2021 Share Posted July 30, 2021 Gaga's Italian accent sounds perfect, but between her origins (and having spoken to Donatella for years), I guess that wasn't a problem for her. I'm more worried about Jared Leto's "it's-eh chic-eh!". We'll see if it's oscar material, I feel like ruling out best picture or other major awards, but costumes, cinematography etc seem likely to me. Clearly not having seen the film I could be wrong. In any case if every Drag Queen in the world doesn't use "In the name of the Father, Son and the House of Gucci" at least once in their performances I will be personally insulted.Ā This movie is clearly Snatch Game material. This happens a couple of times the r is very carecteristic tho.Ā also the s should have more a z sound cause if you do it Italian you connect words so they tend to sound zmartiese instead of smarties even more if in a sentence jared Leto tho is just not there for what Iāve heard. Al pacino seems like heās doing his typical Italo sicilian accent but honestly thatās def not the accent heād have.Ā Ā donāt know she seems like the real big player here.
