I did not make it as a fat joke, and I didn't even know it WAS a fat joke - I'm not a native speaker I simply did not think of the "whale" thing like that - until much later. It has been - and still is - a much talked about meme, and I haven't seen many people who used it in bad faith at all. So why is it a problem when I make that joke now?
