Baptiste 76
No, but you were dissing Australia, which I took as a shady comment towards me, sorry for the misunderstanding :mittens: It wasn't shade. You were speaking about Australia. I was pointing the fact that french are not really accepted there. If only politicians accepted Aristide Briand's project about Europe. It was before the WWII ! Europe's unity is an old idea. Kant, Hugo, Briand, Schuman, etc. Wa have made progress, but there are still things to do. I hope I won't die before concrete USE. :ohno:

I think that's bit of a drastic statement to assume that the country dislikes a certain country, or at least, is a popular thought, based on a video or two on Youtube :mittens: I won't die, but I can't live without you
Baptiste 76
BGC i need your help. Which politicans already said that they want a united Europe? Our minds are connected. I have posted something about politicians and Europe. You can add : Daniel Cohn-Bendit and Guy Verhofstadt. :) I think that's bit of a drastic statement to assume that the country dislikes a certain country, or at least, is a popular thought, based on a video or two on Youtube Maybe. But people talked a lot about it here because Australia is an important developped and supposed-open-minded country. And the fact that it happened in the second biggest city of the country shocked a lot of people. That's not something we hear about every day. As Redin said most likely in 2018 or 2020 will be decided which countries want to be in a USE

Baptiste 76
As Redin said most likely in 2018 or 2020 will be decided which countries want to be in a USE We also have two parties for a strong Europe : Europe Écologie Les Verts (the best ) and l'Union des Démocrates et Indépendants (new). EELV won a lot of seats during the last european elections ! It was the third party (16,28%), close behind the socialists (16,48%). That's hopeful. :legend: Edited January 26, 2013 by BGC

Baptiste 76
52% of French are in favor of Brexit. In comparison, 68% supported the entry of the UK (and Denmark, Ireland, Norway) into the EU in 1973 (referendum). :usrs:
