I don't understand your first answer. :confuse: Britain isn't a USE I bet at the end,when it really gives a USE, they want to be in. Exactly what happened at the beginning of the construction. They wanted to stay apart. But then, they have understood the EU had a lot of advantages so they finally choose to enter the union ... In in few years, when the situation will be better in Europe, they'll change their position again. They still go around reminiscing about the days when they had their Empire and refuse to let go. They will never be ready for a European federation. Well for the French the EU is their French Empire 2.0 and that is why they so strongly support it. All the important EU organs are located in French-speaking cities. Brussels, Strasbourg, Luxembourg. People who work for Europe theorically don't represent their country but EU. I can assure you that France does not feel powerful in the European Union.
