Rollercoaster

Lol no. Europe makes poor decision after poor decision where humans are concerned. They protect criminals and run corrupt businesses to take money from the less fortunate.

Also, nobody in the UK would stand for it. We would leave if we had the choice.

What kind of decisions ? There is austerity in UK too.

They protect criminals and run corrupt businesses to take money from the less fortunate.

EU wants to regulate the markets. Which is the country who stand against that ? UK ... Because of the City. The place where finance have all rights. The place where people speculate without any kind of limits. That's one of the reasons a lot of countries in Europe have problems now ...

Also, nobody in the UK would stand for it. We would leave if we had the choice.

Don't worry, EU don't need the UK. We have built the Euro Zone without. That's just so ironic because when the pound was weak, at the end of the year 2008, some english wanted to think about a euro integration ... Exactly what I explained in my last post : the UK position is only a question of money. UK sees the EU as a big market and don't care about anything else. The goal is to have all the economical benefits. That's not the vision of a lot of other countries, in particulary France and Germany. If you don't accept it, indeed you can leave. We'll see what you'll truly choose with the referendum.

Europe constantly screws the UK over with everything. Particularly their human rights decisions and taxation strategies.

The reason the eurozone is in trouble is that they hadn't expected the stock markets to differ from country to country.

The only people it would benefit would be the Germans. We're all familiar with their power grabbing.

There are no positives for citizens on the UK but there are great negative consequences. The same for Spain, turkey, Greece and other less powerful countries. If they unite as a large country it will only make matters a lot worse.

Human rights decisions ? There's a difference between the European Union and the Council of Europe. Two different organizations.

The reason the eurozone is in trouble is that they hadn't expected the stock markets to differ from country to country.

I know the reasons. But this construction is unique. You can't blame the EU. We need time to improve it.

No way. Germany gives a lot of money every year to finance the EU. It's benefic for the Germans, but the presence of Germany in the EU is benefic for all the other countries. Did you hear the germans in the middle of the 2000's ? They had a lot of important reforms to adapt their market and to be competitive. All the other europeans (particulary in the south) didn't make the reforms when it was necessary. Now, there's a big difference between the north and the south. But that's really too easy to blame the germans. I don't remember people were so concerned when germans had to do a lot of efforts tbh ... But it was hard for them. Now, the situation is better in their country, but they deserve it.

Turkey ? Do you know what's the European Union ?

To reject all the advantages of the EU is unfair and false. All the countries wanted to integrate the Union. Spain, Portugal and Greece developped their economies because of their integration in the EU. That's the same situation with Eastern Europe. They wanted to be a part of the Union because they were aware it has a lot of advantages.

Do you have any idea how biased the european union is toward Germany?

Let's take wind farms - insisted upon by the EU, they are the least efficient and most expensive way of getting green energy. Do Germany use them? LOL no, but their company does and thus their country benefits from the money earned - from countries which are near forced to employ their companies by the EU.

It's like my sibling being a producer of cheese singles, and forcing you to always have calcium each day - cheese singles are hardly a great source of calcium in comparison to other things, but I'm now going to tell you that you MUST have your calcium in the form of cheese singles. Why? Well certainly not because my sibling is the manufacturer, but for some mystery reason.

It's ridiculous. The entire western world has become entirely too co-dependent, they're incapable of functioning as lone countries. It's pathetic.
