TaylorSwift 162,435 Posted July 17, 2021 Share Posted July 17, 2021 Greece banned music in bars and restaurants and imposed a nighttime curfew on the party island of the super-rich, Mykonos on Saturday after a rise in new coronavirus infections there. Mykonos is one of Greece's most popular destinations, attracting more than a million visitors, among them Hollywood stars, models and world-famous athletes. Following a "worrying" local outbreak, the Civil Protection Ministry said it was banning music on the island around the clock, including in cafes, shops and beach bars. It also said it would restrict movement between 1 a.m to 6 a.m except for those going to and from work or to hospital. The number of infections has been rising in Greece in recent weeks, forcing the government to mandate the vaccination of nursing home staff and healthcare workers, and to introduce new restrictions across the country, including allowing only vaccinated customers indoors at clubs and restaurants. WHO has now recommended the ban of music, persons can remove their masks completely as long as they are NOT singing! You literally implied it is being spread through "yelling" and then went on to imply singing isn't an activity that involves opening your mouth and actually singing, you know, like it is traditionally done.
