Don't worry, EA is famous for not testing their games or having a very high percentage of bugs that are deemed as "not hindering the game" while those same bugs will make the game unlaunchable lol

Simcity 2013, Battlefront II and Anthem all had disastrous launches comparable to Cyberpunk. Simcity 2013 was physically unplayable for over a week after its launch (people literally couldnt even get in the game to try to play it) and completely ruined the reputation of one of the most iconic and best selling video game franchises of all time. BF2 launched with a 0.4/10 user score. Even today, SC13 and BF2 consistently rank among/above Cyberpunk 2077 for worst video game launches of all time.

I was disappointed in the interactive show they made with the jungle adventure or whatever it was. Too time consuming and the choices were not satisfying because of how long it took to play the content. I don't need games on Netflix. There are other places to find good games.

Really? I thought CP77 had a legendary bad launch even among flop videogame launches (and I say this as a huge Witcher 3 lover).

I'll doubt they'll have nintendo licenses but honestly half the stuff coming out for switch is terrible, bare bones minimum. Nintendo is getting greedy and it would be cool to give them some competition with a service people are already a part of

That's why I'm never buying a switch. Looks like I'm a PC gamer for life (as much as I PHUCKING hate DRM)

Agree, I'm mad I've gotten rid of a lot of this stuff. Definitely worth holding on to, at least your favourite ones.

I'm aware that they lose quite a bit of money due to piracy (hence why DRM was born) but I really want to go back to the time when we OWNED the copies of the products we bought. Now you pay for a license AND you gotta validate it with an account and a third-party program. Honestly, we all should stop buying in order to force them to revert to the old system.

Times change. I mean, people used to only be able to be entertained by seeing things in person and I’m sure some thought the movies were a “cheap form” of theater. Then came along VHS/DVDs and I’m sure some were scared that movies theaters were no longer going to be a thing.

Everyone has this same fear of change but there’s nothing wrong with it - it’s how the world works.
