Been a fan of Sufjan since I've heard the songs he wrote for Call Me By Your Name, and then fell in love with his music with albums: Carrie and Lowell and especially Illinois. Discovered Angelo through him when they collaborated on Angelo's track titled "Time" from his album Tomb.

Don't know if there are many Sufjan stans here but give it them a listen! Reach Out especially is so good

Edit: August 12

Two new songs just released! Back to Oz with a music video and Fictional California.

I really liked Reach Out and I love Sufjan Stevens, although some of his songs are not my cup of tea (i.e.: if I listen 10 acoustic songs in a row without some production change I fall asleep).

The tracklist looks like some of those Gaga fake leaks people believe in on this site though.

I agree. There is a time and place for Sufjan's music, I play his albums usually during noon on a lazy sunny day. Also, the tracklist is true lol and all of the tracks are on his Youtube page (just blocked or privated). Although they do sound like fake Gaga track names :billie: for a Sufjan album, they sound typical from the rest of his discography.

I was a fan of Illinoise when I was released (yeah I'm old).  I also really liked "Video Game" from his last album.

"Back to Oz" sounds like a bop tbh :legend:

I'm a recreational guitar player and I love playing Sufjan songs. There's something so spare and beautiful in his voice.

Thanks for sharing these!

Sufjan's catalogue is super eclectic tho. He literally has a symphonic electronic record, an ambient album, two chamber pop records, and a full symphony in his discography.
