Trent Reznor did the soundtrack/score for Gone Girls, which is an amazing one. I'm hopefully for this, and I haven't historically enjoyed her stuff.

I’m simply referring to using grandiose tropes as shorthand the work should be taken “seriously.” It automatically makes me suspicious.
