(THE CAST DIDN’T EVEN PRONOUNCE AW-LEE-YAH’s name correctly) -Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star -Serbian Film -The Blue Lagoon -All of the Human Centipede movies -I forget the name of the movie but there’s a movie about a guy pretending to be trans just so that he sleeps with girls. In the end of the movie one girl (who identified as lesbian) who slept with him “turned straight”. Sadly this movie was made not too long ago. The rumored source for the musical was very anti-Evita lol Yeah, the potential was definitely there, but like you mentioned the source material got in the way and it also came about when ALW was starting to morph from the promising new guy in town into the overly self indulgent spectacle guy who just threw everything onto the stage for the hell of it, good idea or not. Evita was kind of his turning point and where he began to go a little too wild for his own good. He's a legend absolutely but damn his stuff has not held up well for the most part.
