I am one of the few people who actually really loved mother!

I’m not a super religious person but the way they told the book of genesis and the overall metaphorical craziness of religious fanatics +Mother Earth is just crazy surreal. JLaw literally KILLED that role. Her scream after seeing her baby was one of the most realistic screams I’ve ever heard

DrKindnessKunt1999

-Any Lifetime Bio-pic. Especially, the Britney Spears and Aaliyah biopics. (THE CAST DIDN’T EVEN PRONOUNCE AW-LEE-YAH’s name correctly)

-Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star

-Serbian Film

-The Blue Lagoon

-All of the Human Centipede movies

-I forget the name of the movie but there’s a movie about a guy pretending to be trans just so that he sleeps with girls. In the end of the movie one girl (who identified as lesbian) who slept with him “turned straight”. Sadly this movie was made not too long ago.

Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom :saladga:

I watched this and Jesus Christ. Wasn’t the worst movie I’ve seen tbh but I can’t believe it’s based on factual events. Obviously not the same things but stuff like that did happen in Italy during that time in the elites apparently. It’s crazy

Honestly, this is a really unpopular opinion, but I had no issue with this remake.

It shouldn't even have been that. As a musical theatre kid my whole life I can say with confidence that Evita is one of the worst musicals to ever hit Broadway or the West End.

I think it could've been good if it wasn't so ill-advised. The rumored source for the musical was very anti-Evita lol

This was an official message from the Office of the First Lady.

Yeah, the potential was definitely there, but like you mentioned the source material got in the way and it also came about when ALW was starting to morph from the promising new guy in town into the overly self indulgent spectacle guy who just threw everything onto the stage for the hell of it, good idea or not. Evita was kind of his turning point and where he began to go a little too wild for his own good. He's a legend absolutely but damn his stuff has not held up well for the most part.

I can't believe how hilarious it manages to be while being so bad :bradley: You don't do something that iconic unless it's on purpose like Sharknado etc, but Tommy managed to do this completely unaware, talent.
