According to the ruling, current laws regarding surrogacy for single men and same-sex couples will be cancelled within six months. I know someone who did it and is completely content with her decision. She’s done it many times, too. But obviously there are women who regret/aren’t happy with their decisions. It's not even the goverment that approved it, it's the court that dismissed part of the surrogacy law in israel because it wasn't allowing same opportunities for straight and lgbtq+ couples. Very sick and very problematic, even our former minister of welfare, which is a gay person who has 2 surragacy kids, didn't mange to solve it.
