Tbh, I didn't know at the beginning of the video if I would like it. But when the cars approached from behind and she fell to the ground, together with the production, made me sh!t my pants and let me transcend into another dimension :cryga: .

I'm wondering if the cars were real or maybe CGI? OMG if they are real

Well, knowing that during the production of bury a friend video she originally wanted to be injected with that black liquid for real, I would not be suprised

Just heard that this song could be about a stalker who she had to get a restraining order against last year. Poor Billie. So creepy and terrifying :(

Whispering bore. Same old minimalist catchy hook. Sorry, I want to like it but I fell asleep in the meantime. Useless.

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

Was this inspired by this performance?

I think it can go either way. The song is so catchy yet so "experimental" that I can't really say if radio and the GP would like it :oprah: :duck: .

It wouldn't be a bad thing, tho :hor:

Not specifically referring to the both of you but--

Ed Sheeran wears a pink suit in a music video with heavy makeup in an apocalyptic and horror-inspired setting and theme which The Weeknd did not explore in any of his After Hours videos = Ed Sheeran commits serious plagiarism.

Billie Eilish walking dramatically towards the camera with carefully choreographed vehicle movements in an outdoor setting with a cinematography style very much akin to that in The Weeknd's performance = minor inspiration, which is a good thing.

I respect both Sheeran and Eilish but the double standards in GGD are absolutely ridiculous.

Just ignore such comments, people who do it usually carry some unexplained prejudice or hate towards the artist and instead of being upfront about it they choose to do it in minor ways like this. Also, I didn't know The Weeknd invented vehicles driving (but correct me if i'm wrong, maybe I am uncultured)

I think they're most probably real. Billie usually does not use CGI unless it is uncontrollable and life threatening (like the snake wrapping around her in "Your Power") . I'm pretty sure they were all skilled drivers and trained the "choreo" beforehand.

I agree, but it goes both ways. For example the "Billie Eilish plagiarism" thread with the t.A.t.U comparison. When Gaga was accused of referencing "Papa, Don't Preach" by Madonna in PI without saying it, everybody here defended her and was like "yOu caN't cOPyrIGHt muSicAL pATterNs". But as soon as Billie or any other artist might reference something without explicitly telling, they all come for her throat and say "She's a fraud", "She isn't what you think she is" and all such things :saladga:

NDA comes before TIA in the tracklist. It’s a transition.
