Songwriting is usually referred to as writing the lyrics to a song - whether that's to an existing track, a track you produce/write yourself, or a track that someone makes for you with your input. This list would look VERY different if you used that definition. Adele, for example, has written most of her lyrics but not the music. She's still a songwriter. Same goes for Taylor.
