Good luck.

In all seriousness Facebook does need to go, and google needs more restrictions and limitations. They’ve both caused more harm than good.

Watch this go all the way up to the Supreme Court.. the mess that will cause

They reject dozens of cases daily. This won’t do anything but give press a few click bait titles.

Good. I don’t like him, nor do I agree with what he says, but this censorship thing has gone too far. His freedom to say horrible things protects my freedom to call him a bigot. You Americans will never learn from history. Look at every other nation that started to censor some free speech. It’s a dangerous road. The best way to counter wrong speech is correct speech, not silencing people you don’t agree with. Learn to debate.

No one is censoring his free speech. Private companies such as Facebook and Twitter have every right to remove or block accounts that do not comply with their rules. Nothing is stopping Trump from holding press conferences, rallies (which he’s doing) etc.

His accounts were banned for spreading fake news like any account. Nothing to do with freedom of speech, why should he be above the rules, regardless of his opinion?

He's free to voice his opinions- just not on these websites where the owners have decided he has broken the terms & conditions of using the site. Its not censorship, otherwise we may as well abolish the GGD mod team

While I do think tech giants should be allowed to censor what goes on their sites as they are private companies but this opens the door for them to abuse this and censor things they do not agree with that can be in the "grey area" of things. This can obviously be problematic. I think they should allow people to say whatever they want but obviously remove extreme content and anything that incites violence. For politicians especially, they should have a team that analyses their tweets/content and rate how fake or real it is. This way, politicians like Trump will still have a platform to say stupid things but also at the same time, people will know how real or fake it is.

KORG

He is a terrorist, plain and simple.

Also, they have more access to more money than Trump could dream of. Especially combined.

Isn't it about time he started having health issues?

When a private company acts as a public utility the laws change, hence, Facebook’s right to selectivity, censorship and propaganda also change.

That wasn’t why he was banned, but ok.

Look, I know the legislation around this. Whilst what you said was , in essence, correct, please don’t pretend that it is right. It is really off-putting when somebody tries to fit an over-compensated authoritarian monopoly company into a matchbox and pass it off as an every day occurrence. One day you will sorely regret your championship of censorship. Of course, we’re only censoring those you don’t agree with.
