What is the era with the best vocals ?

Some people argue that Gaga's vocals got better after Cheek To Cheek.

But I personally can't get over how insanely good she sounded during Born This Way :ohwell:

Vote !

Kind regards

The one good thing I will say about the Joanne era is the vocals. I guess because she was training for ASIB, but yeah she sounded more powerful than ever. Her singing while dancing on the JWT blew every other tour's vocals out of the water.

I definitely got the impression something was going on behind the scenes during ASIB promo because she didn't seem herself at all and during the couple of performances we did get the vocals weren't quite as powerful and effortless as during JWT (not that she didn't still sound great though).

It was Cheek to Cheek, anything else would be lying to yourself. Especially if you say Chromatica.

Her singing while dancing in the BTW era was on point tbh.

We don't even know what her vocals were like during Chromatica era because she didn't let us hear them:billie:

Cheek 2 Cheek.

her Bang Bang performances blew most of the self proclaimed vocal coach on Yt out of the water :ally:

She did wonderful things with Joanne and A Star Is Born, she put a new warmth, new colors, big belts and other subtilities that I truly love. She also achieves to switch from chest to head voice very easily. She is an awesome technician but sometimes she failed in live because she wanted to do a lot. The result is that on some live she had a strained voice, some false notes, out of breath moments, little breaks and notes she couldn't reach...

During The Fame and The Fame Monster she had some flaws but I loved her tone, so crisp, cute, with vocal fry, valley girl accent..

With ARTPOP she tried to be powerful and full on belts, sometimes it's awesome sometimes it's too loud and she screams too much imo

So I think Born This Way was the perfect moment for me, she was between her cute "inexperimented" tone and her growing technical powerful voice, she had a amazing breath control, didn't push too much, she just sounded great on every performance.

I can't judge the Chromatica on one performance only .. :saladga:

I think ARTPOP & C2C, which I guess she was training her voice for C2C and it carried to ARTPOP

It was also really great for ASIB and Joanne, but I really have a soft spot for her earlier voice even before ARTPOP when it was a little bit more raspier :saira:

Born This Way and then Joanne

Joanne had the craziest vocal moments but Born This Way was constant in its perfection

If you're a true fan you will definitely know CTC served the best vocals out of her. La Vie En Rose snatch every night, The Sound of Music and many other tributes, the star-spangled banner (which I include since Joanne wasn't out yet) etc.

This completely. Her vocals were next level during the JWT :bradley:
