Guest Posted July 3, 2021 Share Posted July 3, 2021 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aS1no1myeTM&ab_channel=MileyCyrusVEVO could we just appreciate how much of a masterpiece this is? it's been nearly a year since midnight sky's release and it has NOT aged not a little the song was really huge in UK with a #5 peak, US peak was kinda sad #14 but it spent 20 weeks on the chart without radio support, even though it received ENORMOUSLY GOOD callouts (on HAC, 68 net positive with only 83.3 fam) yet the radio randomly dropped it just because it is from Miley the song had even her own mini-era with performances at: VMAs (with wrecking ball cameo), Live Longue, SOSFEST, Graham Norton, Backyard Sessions, Amazon Music Holiday Plus, Stern Show, SuperBowl Tiktok Tailgate, Jimmy Fallon and more the song was also critically acclaimed after floppy Younger Now & She Is Coming eras she came back stronger than a 90's trend yet the song failed to be huge in the US due to radio boycott GP loved the song as it did really good on streams, making it capable of spending 20 weeks on Hot100 she even directed the music video herself Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
