Jesus, the one car that lead the way so that every car company can start to make long range electric vehicles to save our environment. 

It's like the only way people consume information is if someone that has been demonized on social media is attached to it. 

Ok but it was 1 of only 250 so thats a serious red flag.

 

Were not talking about some random model with half a million cars on the road and then the odd one had a major problem and gets recalled

 

1 of only 250 could just be a serious fluke but it could also ve a red flag of a serious design flaw that could frequently cause this

 

So i get it getting more special attention regardless of the tesla factor

Other than that, electrical things catch on fire sometimes, it's normal.

To me whats freaky tho is that this was only 1 of 250

 

If 1 of 100,000 cars on the road had this happen u could maybe call it a fluke or freak accident

 

But the odds a fluke or freak accident would happen to one of them when only 250 are out so far and on top of that only 3 days after going on the road... thats eye brow raising

So far, it seems like number of fires per car in the traffic is higher for Teslas. Those fires are not always triggered by accidents. They are also more deadly, spreading faster and being harder to extinguish. And now, trapping the driver inside a burning car? That should be taken very seriously.

Human error, one time production error, or a design error, whatever it is, the cause should be found and addressed. Even if it’s a human error, the automaker should do its best to prevent it from happening again.
