Hebi 13,928
I genuinely ask because I remember I was when I started being a stan back in 2013 until I'd say like 2016 when Joanne kicked in. I did not stop looking for videos/pictures of her all day, everyday: whether performances, interviews, acceptance speeches, etc. and she was in my head most of the time. It was very special but when I look back it was a little crazy too lol Now that I've seen almost everything about her (plus she has been really quiet the past years) I really don't go back to her stuff anymore. And even if there's an unseen performance or picture it doesn't excite me that much (maybe I did grew up after all?). I'm actually more focused in her present which is very restrained and I like it that way. I'm curious to know if this is a common thing for new fans lol wbu? holy scheisse 22,272
Yes my obsession was the fame -- ARTPOP Edit. But also I'm still on this cult site so.... The journey does continue
HotLikeMexico 5,188
I was in HS when The Fame came out. Me and a few other people were huge fans and were obsessed with her. Watched every performance, interview, MV, etc. By the time Joanne came out, I had mellowed out. She’ll always be my favorite but I don’t keep tabs on her or constantly check for new content. I think it’s a part of growing up. I’ll always support her and love her no matter what. She made a huge impact on me in my teen years and I appreciate and love her so much for it. Chlorine 47,976
My peak obsession was TFM/BTW Getting nostalgic thinking about those days now
GagaSine 7,464
I am still obsessed but definitely less so. But for example I had a hard day emotionally today so for comfort i watched the BTWB Houston performance where the fan joins her on stage during Scheisse and she says, "You see? You can do anything if you put your mind to it." And it made me cry lol My peak obsession was when five foot two came out and the months following, and it was the reason I volunteered for the Toronto International Film Festival in 2018, because I was desperately hoping to see her. Leoooo 2,284
Oh god big time, same as you I would watch every interview, performance, everything just constantly. She'd be pretty much all I listened to. She got me through some of the hardest things when I was at uni. Probably Fame (pre, fame I found after) up to ARTPOP was when it was at its highest. Seeing her live 3 times definitely made it more of a real connection. Always love her so much, now I check up and am always excited for new content or projects, but she helped me so much it allowed me to help myself
badfaith 5,715
I have been a stan since Joanne, but when I found this cult site when it was announced that Chromatica was delayed, my stan card peaked. I watched every performance, listened to all her albums, her covers, and reactions to her music and performances. I'm still stuck on Gaga's universe now and lots of my days are spent on this site. heavymetalartpop 307
ARTPOP. I’d stay up all night on school nights searching for leaks. I believe that was the tumblr era where they normally popped up there first. The amount of sleep I lost over ARTPOP Act II rumors back then… I also remember there was some countdown in the ARTPOP app and everyone was hyping up the possibility of something and in the end literally nothing happened. Fun times. ARTPOP forever

Siena 6,265
2009-2016 was when I was OBSESSED. But also I was young and had all the time in the world to watch every single video, behind the scene, performance etc. From 2017 until now I’m still obsessed, but now in a “healthier” way since I’m finishing up my last few months at University and I’m busy with work.
