Also most Latinos don't make eye contact when they are sorry. It's offensive to look someone in the eye when you've done something wrong. He's not even taking her culture or personality into account. This whole body language thing is so ridiculous. Eye contact in latin and Asia countries is aggressive and confrontational. Judging everyone's body language by western style is within itself xenophobic, privileged and even a bit racist as African Americans also have different body language than that of white westerners. There’s very common things practically everyone does when it comes to being uncomfortable, when you’re excited, when you’re surprised, etc which can lend possibilities to how someone is thinking. it’s like you can tell if someone is lying with a good probability by if they’re looking to the left or the right when thinking due to unconscious movements between the two parts of the brain. Same thing with when you cross your arms, when you keep touching your face or if you keep ruffling your hair, if you twiddle yourself thumbs, if you scrunch yourself feet, etc. there’s a LOT you can tell about a person just from body language.
