Canada Day is tomorrow, and I won't be celebrating. After colonizing indigenous land, they further colonized indigenous culture by literally ripping children from their homes and forcing them into these schools. Kids were forced to forget their culture and families under the guise of religion. Religion really destroys so much. Canada comes from the indigenous word "Kanata". I was baptized as a Roman Catholic (Agnostic officially now) and I hate them for what they did. I want them gone. Religion should be practiced within yourself, everyone has their own sense of faith and that should be enough. It shouldn't have so much influence in the civilisation.
