This can't be serious, and this also shows how you can't be "trans race".

Also, while the history of plastic surgery might make this more unlikely, remember to not rule out the possibility that this may be a Trump supporter attempting to make the LGBTQ+ community look bad.

It's 99% the case

This guy again? How many gratuitous "hate on him to feel less racist yourself" threads about him do we need?

My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <3

high culture

I believe there is validity to outrage whenever someone says they are transracial (another good example I can think of is Rachel Dolezal) with the cultural context and place in history we are in today.

I majored in Gender Studies and Psychology and minored in Sociology in college, and this is a topic that came up in many of my classes from time to time. I personally am of the opinion that these people’s racial experiences and identities are valid and explainable by current theories we have applied to other “trans” groups such as transgender. The brain only knows it’s body’s gender, race, etc because of social interactions all throughout society. I personally find it plausible that someone could begin identifying with a certain ethnic community and want to look more like them in order to feel included and accepted. I personally wish this was not seen as a negative thing.

I think when you read what people say about a transracial person it is very similar to what people opposed to transgender people will say. Opposition to “trans” anything is usually rooted in the belief that the specific trait is essential, or that is the way it is and is unchangeable. I think as more interracial couples and multiracial people exist, we will understand more that skin color can mean as much as eye or hair color, and that we as a society have just socialized a certain skin color as lesser. Think of Nazi Germany that socially constructed the discrimination of people based on hair and eye color. Any demographic you can list is affected by societal norms, which can and will shift in the future.

At the end of the day; race, gender, etc is all a social/psychological construct and manifests as a person’s identity. I say as long as they are not bastardizing whatever thing they are transitioning towards, my belief of body autonomy will accept anyone who wants to be what they feel like they are. That being said though, if you are a member of a community and don’t like that people are trying to transition into your demographic then that is completely within your right to feel a negative way about it.

I can’t believe we live in a world where people are ok with parents placing their toddlers on hormones but object to a grown man spending his own money on surgery. Sure he needs help but the comments here aren’t compassionate towards his mental health.

Lol please inform yourself before speaking out. There's nothing wrong or morally incorrect about giving hormones to trans kids. The effects of those hormones are reversible nonetheless, but it is as if they weren't because not many trans kids regret their choice.
