The real thing Gaga focuses on rn would be jazz album and Gucci promo, maybe even picking her next movie project, meanwhile writing some music like a hard-working woman she is. I remember Gaga saying in an interview she would say to Garibay: "Now give me the dance version of this song. Let's make a rock version of this song." flyaway 15,350 Posted June 25, 2021 Share Posted June 25, 2021 I loved Born This Way and Yoü and I I love Kylie, but her cover was very flat. The production wasn't it. Same with TEOG. The Big Freedia Judas rendition was interesting but not my cup of tea. And the Highway Unicorn was fine. I expected more from TEOG but I feel like the production isn't it. Also, HURTL sounds good but considering so many amazing people were involved in that song, it could have been much better. Overall, a solid record. I'd also like to add that as people here are saying that Gaga could've done something similar to Taylor's from the vault, every artist doesn't feel the same thing about their past unreleased work. Sometimes it doesn't "feel right" to go back to unreleased works and retouch and release them. Any two artists always have creative differences.
