Bonkers 30,860 Posted June 24, 2021 Share Posted June 24, 2021 We have a fireworks competition in Montreal during the summer. Massive shows 1-2 times per week. After every show the ER gets a rush of people suffering from the smoke. I can name at least a dozen people who have had to figure out ways to shelter their dog from it. I really love the competition, it's really fun to watch, it's always a happy crowd and the best spot to watch is located right off the gay village. So I'm not in favor of cancelling it, but it's with a degree of respect and sympathy for the people who aren't able to enjoy it for the reasons I mentioned. Definitely not a screw them kind of feeling, but rather - ouch - sorry - I know we're bad.
