Slayer 9,227
I don't get why everybody is hating on the girl who sang. She didn't "grab the mic" or anything, and Gaga clearly loved watching her do it. Look how happy she was. I think it's great that she brings fans up on stage, and it's wonderful that she sometimes lets them sing or dance as well. This would NEVER happen at anyone else's concert. It shows how truly genuine Gaga is when she says her fans mean the world to her. She practices what she preaches. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!! ELEGANS 1
WTF did I just watch, the end where she gets pulled off omg That's the reaction most of his fans had when they got pulled from stage. haha, I laugh every time.
spikeydawson 0
I was at the Cape Town show, and it was sweet that she brought people on stage, especially when I recognised the people going up from thee campout and all :) That being said, Lady G actually called up the wrong girl for her Born This Way acoustic. A girl threw a boob stressball thing on stage and then the girl's friend actually went up on stage, AND this same girl tried to constantly sing alongside Gaga for the acoustic. It was cute at first, but after a while people started to get pissed off that she was demanding so much attention Gaga handled it really well though  So yeah, I can see both viewpoints of going up on stage. Wish I did! I was front row center, with a lumo headband and a lightening bolt on my face, waving my 6 inch rainbow platform shoe above my head and I didn't get picked. I REALLY wanted to get picked and let my younger sister go up, ah well :confuse:
TheQueen 18
That's the reaction most of his fans had when they got pulled from stage. haha, I laugh every time. dblaney 0
No offense but wtf is that guy on the right wearing. And that guy at the end was kind of scary as well but the lighting probably made it worse. That girl really needed to stop being such an attention ***** as well. She was practically pushing lady gaga away from the microphone.

His name is Andrew, he actually won the Monster Pit key His costume was made of all these ropes that he tied into a costume from scratch in line on the day of the concert (he went to the Johannesburg show and then flew down to Cape Town just to see the show AGAIN.) I'll admit, the girl was a bit annoying, like the Monster Pit crowd wasn't too impressed with her. Her friend was meant to be called up on stage as the owner of the boob-stressball thing, but they pulled this girl out by accident instead I saw one girl in the crowd actually booing at her, calling her a fake friend and a fake monster, it was pretty bad. I feel bad for the girl who shoud've been called on stage, I remember her playing with the boob in line earlier that day... Elizabeth 450
I think bringing people on stage in the piano part is good, but I agree that it started getting too much during MTN and I'm glad she's stopped that.

I'd be pressed if I was at a show where some random girl was singing an entire chunk of a song. I'm there to watch and see Gaga, not her fans. Sorry. Vanilla 660
I think that she should do Marry the Night how she used to do it (one or two people, gone before the last part) because when she leaves the stadium, I want to watch her, not her and some awkward fans The piano part is fine, in fact, I think it sets the tone perfectly. But, when they take the microphone from her, I find it rather rude, I'm there to see Gagz not you. I won't die, but I can't live without you
Antichrist 9,818
Now this statement has absolutely no substance at all. I am also pretty annoyed by Gaga dragging a ton of people onstage. It's nice she invites fans to go backstage, etc., even though this has turned into pretty much a competition and she does notice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2wFYgr2eTg 5:47 "Princess Die" was fine when she picked one fan to join her onstage because it was kind of cute to have a 'princess die' every night. But now that she's taking half of the entire Monster Pit onstage for "Hair"... well, that's kind of awkward, to be honest. It's just not decent to watch and I have to say that the entire scenery with five or six hysterical fans (yes, I know how exciting it must be) looks extremely ridiculous. Same goes for her performance of "Marry the Night." Most fans she picked, especially when she picked a bunch of them, didn't really know what to do when she started to dance and walk around the Monster Pit. I'm glad she performs the song now with only her dancers - because this is the way it's supposed to be. Singing a song about overcoming the feeling of being loser and then inviting seven fans that don't really know what to do onstage just looks... mediocre. What if you were picked? Would you not go? Would you 'no thanks, you're just acting hysterical' ? lol. Enjoy the show as it is.
Antichrist 9,818
You don't even get my point. But just for your information: I was picked by her to meet her backstage. Ohh. Dat explains it all then. ;d
JoeMo 3,729
Thank you. I hate it too. The Born This Way Ball has turned into a competition between fans to see who can meet GaGa or be brought back stage. I inevitably got sucked in to the whole idea and tried my hardest to get noticed to get backstage. And that's what the show turned in to. I couldn't enjoy it nearly as much as I could have. I left feeling dissapointed I didn't get to meet her. www.youtube.com/jmremixes
teo 609
I actually love this. It's what makes every show unique.
