Bonnie McKee also co-wrote all 7 #1 singles that came from Teenage Dream and its re-release. Very little of it actually seems to Katy’s vision. And yup once she had to swear off of Luke, for fear of looking like even more of an asshat than she’d already made herself to look.

If you wanna know why I don’t care for her personally, it’s because she had a bunch of opportunities to speak up about Luke and his abuse in the heat of the Kesha legal battles. She could have helped the situation so much but she was too worried about losing everything, and then she still couldn’t get a hit after all was said and done. Foul.

Lot of people should realize that objective criticism is not hate. I personaly enjoy most of Katy's singles, but I can also totally understand why her downfall happened and I am not even mad about it.

She is vile with a smile. And everything she gets right now is bad karma she had been saving up all these years. What comes around goez around.

She made fun of Brit2007ney mental breakdown, and she easily tell everyone to make peace to their Trumptsers family members just like she did to her parents, being out of touch and showing her privilege, as if those people didn't just just tried insurrection days before that. That tells so much what kind of person she is, that is low brow and only horrible people could go that low to do that. At least for me, I now undestand why all these humanitarian stuffs she's been doing never feel genuine, and more like pandering.

She also do lots others stuffs such as poor taste joke about Obamas when mocking her fans who asking her to get her black hair back, among others.

Katy had a lot of trauma and things to unlearn because of her fanatic parents and was struggling herself

You expect her to be respectful about someone else's health, when she didn't even know how to deal with her own 

You can point that out and say it was wrong, but it's not a reason to not like her

For Gaga fans, it's mostly all about her shading Gaga back in the day. Even when she was more successful and overshadowing her from 2010-2011 at her peak, a lot of us still loved her guilty pleasure pop bops. Naturally, when she was a threat to Gaga, there was bitterness but when she started saying comments that were clearly aimed at Gaga (saying that singers who say they'd die for their fans are so cringey, laughing at Gaga's original plan to go into space, even making a really weird comment about how we can't use the word deluxe anymore when Gaga had mentioned previously that she hated that word and so on), it became an issue. And then when her label made them face off with Roar vs Applause, then the gloves were off. She said things about other pop girls too as well as saying things that made it sound like she was invincible and would have hits forever. When she was at her peak, Katy's ego became out of control. She admits it herself in the lyrics of Smile: "had a piece of humble pie, that ego check saved my life." Now that her career has taken a slide, she's no longer a threat, so we're not as bothered and now that her and Gaga have made up and Katy's much more humble now, it's a whole lot better and no one here truly hates her anymore, I don't think.
