RAMROD 106,308 Posted June 15, 2021 Share Posted June 15, 2021 Sony Pictures has scheduled major tentpole films for 2022: David Leitch’s “Bullet Train” will debut on April 8 2022. Based on the book “Maria Beetle” by Kotaro Isaka, “Bullet Train” follows five assassins who find themselves on a bullet train in Japan and realize that their assignments are related. The film’s ensemble cast will Brad Pitt, Joey King, Andrew Koji, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Benito A Martínez Ocasio and Sandra Bullock. Leitch, who directed “John Wick” and “Atomic Blonde,” will helm the film from a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz. It was reported by Variety back in December that the set was shut down due to a COVID scare. “Bullet Train” will screen in IMAX and premium large formats.
