Canada at 64% of population (74% excluding children under 12) is now the most vaccinated Country in the world in 1st doses surpassing Israel which is at 63%

Canada chose to increase gap between 1st and 2nd doses considerably since 1st doses provide the larger share of protection and largely mostly already prevent deaths and hoslitalizations so it was decided better to offer more people some protection than to offer fewer people "a little more" protection

However counting overall doses per capita when 2nd doses are included Countries such as USA, Israel, UK and a few others are still ahead

Wales have vaccinated more than 80% of the adult population…

It may be getting lumped with the UK perhaps

Also what percentage of ur population is a minor or under 12? Differences in the size of those age groups affect numbers for overall population

But im willing to bet the bigger factor is that Whales is lumped with UK states

Thank whoever, things are starting to happen here in Brazil. Almost 37% of the population in my state were vaccinated and it looks like I'll get my first dose in August if not before. My husband vaccinated a few days ago because he's a teacher.
