Yeah, I got Pfizer because if I'm gonna worry about a vaccine (even though I'm a firm supporter of modern medicine, anxiety does wonders lmao) I'd rather worry about the more effective one :fatcat:

I didn't have to pay at all, thankfully, we have - even though it is mostly not extremely good - socialized healthcare. My country plans to start off all universities next fall so that is why they sped up I think

Yeah i get the anxiety, hypochondria is a bish

And same they are planning on reopening for fall (can't wait to move back tbh im gonna kms with at my parents' house :selena:). Unis here are offering it for free too but I booked one at a private company because I wanted to get it asap and then all the free options popped up after we had already paid :bear:

Im surprised this only got reported here now cuz they been talking about it for days

I was gonna post it but last time i made a thread on news on vaccines that wasnt positive i got accused of fearmongering and spreading "misinformation" so if something bad comes out someone else can post it :enigma:

Edit: on topic yeah its not surprising some side effect came out cuz anything medical has risks and i didnt think it was gonna be THAT superior to Astrazeneca just cuz connections were found right away but clearly benefits still outway very small risks

Luckily that risk remains extremely low, just like how blood clots are for AZ/JJ vaccines.

That being said, I did get my Pfizer shot last month and have ended up with adenopathy and potentially long-term vestibular migraines because of a hyperactive immune reaction.

I'm still getting the second shot though.

It's really a potluck of what you react to isn't it?

I wish I had the AZ because my Pfizer shot ended up doing more harm than good for me in a way. I've caught a uncommon side effect seen in mRNA vaccines whereas my family took AZ and are all fine.

But it's still worth doing it for the sake of everyone's general health.

I would think so. Its like saying whats more dangerous and likely to happen lung cancer from smoking or getting type II diabetes from highly glycemic foods?

There may be no straight answer cuz depending on what ur more genetically prone to 1 may be more likely than the other and with vaccines same maybe

Like AZ rare blood clots seemed to he more common in young women whereas this miocarditus seems more common in young men. It varies by people

Bloody hooker

I’m 23 and getting my first shot next week. This isn’t helping my anxiety :nooo:

Was planning to get Pfizer, but should I get Moderna?

This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.

My mom, sister and I joke about how we each had a different vaccine, so we’ll see what happens in the long run lol! (Mom had J&J, sister had Moderna and I had Pfizer). I’m all for the vaccine taking me out. :laughga: I’d rather the aliens or Jesus come back at this point. What is society?! :messga:

This isn’t meant to invalidate these concerns, to be clear.
