For anyone that’s an Apple Music user the rollouts have begun! 

It hit my phone and I’m currently listening to Chromatica with the new sound and it sounds PHENOMENAL! 

PHENOMENAL is understatement. Rain On Me literally gave me goosebumps. Thanks for sharing the update

I’m convinced they’ve sent the wrong files to Apple.  It sounds like entire channels are missing?

I agree. Stupid Love is literally missing lead vocals. Free Woman is missing the low backing vocals in the prechorus. Sour Candy is missing vocal fx in the beginning. Rain on Me has Ari SIGNIFICANTLY louder than the rest of the track at the end. Babylon is missing the "Battle for your life" in the first chorus and then in the second is has an overlaping "Babylon" with "Gossip Gossip" that sounds bizzare. 911 has the leas vocal on the second verse EXTREMELY quiet So much is off about these mixes and it's weird.

I really hope they fix the mixing on Gaga’s songs, some of the other artists I’ve listened to with Atmos on (Kacey, Taylor) sound soooo good

blinding lights sounds incredible, I think it’s just whoever sent Gaga’s songs over has not properly listened to them

I’m really confused because some people are saying they sound good but what I’m listening to sounds like it was meant to be played over the original track to give certain bits more oomph?  Are some of us experiencing a bug?

I think it's just distorted view. They definitely sound INTERESTING and give a bigger view of the songs production - but they don't make for a good listening experience. Only Plastic Doll, Replay, 1000 Doves and Enigma seem to be steady and even sounding enough.

I’m listening to the full album right now, 911 is literally just backing vocals, FX and a single distorted drum?  It just doesn’t sound like this was intentional

It sounds almost as if something has been inverted and is giving a weird filter. Something HAS to be wrong. Idk if you got to Babylon yet - but that one has HUGE volume issues.

I have to agree. At first I was blown away but then I slowly noticed pieces that were missing and on some songs it’s pretty jarring. I love hearing the new sounds but instead of getting enhanced tracks it seems like we just got alternative ones that highlight some areas while muting others. And in some cases like free woman, it’s just like they uploaded a whole new track in general with different recorded vocals.

While you all listen to Chromatica, I'm shook at ARTPOP. Applause is so poorly mixed omg. The vocals are so quiet and the production sounds so muddy

I think what’s happened is that they meant to put what we’re hearing over the lossless track to fill out the songs with these hidden vocals and effects but instead they sent this file alone.  There’s too much missing and the effects are overbearing without the original track under them.
