Just found this article on my Google, it's in Spanish but the full title is this

This is in Spanish and i would translate but it's 1am, it's basically reporting on the fact that evermore will return to #1 in the US charts and it's trying to make Taylor look like a desperate artist for sales

but anyways, while I do think it's wrong that they're putting Taylor against her daughter Olivia, i find it hilarious that someone would write something like this in 2021.

I still don't get why and how y'all call out BTS (rightfully so) for the desperate tricks and not Taylor? She does EXACTLY the same things as BTS but she's "kween XD".

Is she doing something illegal? No, of course. I would do the same by exploiting my only relevant market, but at least call her out like y'all do for other artists.

She's... just... selling... vinyls... They often come months after the initial album release... what on earth

I mean they aren't wrong, she is acting desperate by selling 4 versions of the same vinyl with different photos and a "digital signature" but many other artists are doing that to sell more too. And the wording of the headline is very stupid.

I thought the digital album was a vinyl sorry. But still, it is a move to increase sales through questionable ways. And it's not only about the price but the number of units sold. I'm not saying she's alone in this, many are doing these stuff, but they still are desperate techniques that aren't organic. That's how the music business works now I guess.

Made 4 artworks to choose from

Fans bought it, because they wanted it, nothing more

And it was available for one day, so most numbers are from vinyl that people were waiting for months anyway

I give her props for her talent and being able to connect with so many people, but she's too focused on herself and her self importance.

taylor doesn't go against every single thing she's ever said just to make music to pander to certain audiences and obviously made with the sole intention of chart chasing. that's the difference. taylor gets her numbers regardless of the type of music she makes, and she's always been authentic. bts haven't been able to remain authentic.
